The 8-bit Fail Whale is a white pixel art whale being carried over a white and orange ocean by seven orange 8-bit birds. It was created by prguitarman, the same person who created the original Nyan Cat sprite and the Fiesta Spider.
The music that plays on the video is the Gameboy Camera Credits music, which is a remix of Mother/Earthbound's Twinkle Elementary School. The video was published on Dec 8, 2011, and the description says, "Where are they taking him??"
