The Official Video

Nyan Battle is a video featuring a fight to the death between Nyan Cat and Tac Nayn. It is one of the most well-known fanmade videos in the fandom.

The video was uploaded to Youtube by Sylvain H (who later chose to go by a different alias of "Nyan AH") in 2011 and has received roughly 11 million views and 70,000 likes. It's definitely worth watching if you're interested in the Nyanverse!

Summary[]

A homeless species of Nyan Cat, the Waffle Cats need to find a new home planet.

They discover Planet SR6.98-002 - The Earth and immediately set their sights on it due to it having all necessary conditions for life to thrive, but quickly realize this world is already populated. This is not an issue as they consider its inhabitants to be weak and still choose to attempt to take it over.

However, it is brought to their attention that a strong power can be sensed radiating from it. They understand the source of this is a powerful entity, later revealed to be the planet's guardian: Nyan Cat.

They devise a plan to send "Agent T9" (aka Tac Nayn) down to kill this being in order to conquer the planet.

Upon Tac's arrival, he destroys a rainbow and attacks the person admiring it, expressing his distaste towards humans.

Donut Pusheen was spotted by Nyan Cat injured as Tac Nayn considered them to be an obstacle. Upon them flying away after being assisted by Nyan Cat, they are hit by Tac Nayn. This is where they encounter each other.

Tac Nayn offers to let Nyan Cat leave unharmed while he prepares the invasion of Planet SR6.98-002, but to his surprise Nyan Cat chooses to fight him in order to protect Earth and avenge Donut Pusheen.

Nyan Cat angers Tac Nayn during the fight and he irrationally attempts to destroy the planet out of spite, firing grayscale beams to blow it up. One of these hits Nyan Cat, and as Tac Nayn goes to deliver the final blow to kill them, Donut Pusheen flies in the way to return the favor, saving their life.

With new found power sourced by witnessing Tac Nayn bring suffering to their dear friends, their motivation to protect everyone else is stronger than ever. Nyan Cat delivers a light blue fireball attack, sending him flying back to the Waffle Cat's temporary home planet and destroying it in the process.

The video ends in Nyan Cat mourning the loss of Donut Pusheen before flying away to continue spreading positivism throughout Planet Earth.
