Born on the 4th of April 2012, Grumpy Cat, or her real name, Tardar Sauce, is a female cat and Internet celebrity known for her grumpy facial expression.
This is an unusual Nyan due to her mouth lacking the standard shape of most Nyans, and Grumpy Nyan has eyebrows like Rasta Cat's. Her pink cheeks, however, remain identical to Nyan Cat.
Her body is fused with a strawberry Poptart, and her tail and feet resemble Grumpy Cat's in color. This Nyan's facial markings are a paler brown than the tail.

The page title says, "NON-STOP GRUMPY NYAN CAT!" and options are highlighted in pink when hovered over.
The main animation and preview icon on the Pick a Flavor menu both save as "grumpy.gif".
On the Nyan.cat page, the music was supposedly a slowed down version of the Nyan Cat Theme, but it plays nothing presently on Nyan.cat, possibly due to a programming error. The music also cannot be found on YouTube, or on Archive.org (Wayback Machine).
Sadly, in 2015-2018 the Nyan Grumpy Cat had been affected by the detached rainbow glitch, but not as badly as other Nyans, however the title was also stuck claiming the page is still Nyan Cat.
Since the mid 2019 update, these glitches have been fixed, but there are still some faults with the page such as Grumpy cat's gif icon being larger than all the other nyans' icons.
Other Appearances[]
The original Nyan Grumpy Cat first officially appeared on a video titled "Grumpy Cat Destroys the World", where Grumpy dreams about turning into a Nyan, killing Nyan Cat, destroying famous Sci-Fi ships, altering Mayan history with the Doctor Who Tardis, and then, destroying the world itself in a very one-sided Pokémon RPG battle. The cat soon becomes angry after finding out that it is a dream and the cat's eyes turn red in fury. The original design looks different from that of Nyan.cat's:
The cat is not 8-bit pixel art and has more detail, with the ears and tail being the same color of grey, the face markings are slightly different, and the blue eyes can turn red and fire lazers. The cat's mouth is different too.

- Grumpy Cat and Nyan Cat have very similar birthdays, only 1 day apart! (April 4th & April 5th respectively.)
- The Manyan Cat page has the same silent music bug. But since mid 2019, Grumpy Cat now has the standard Nyan Cat song.
