The MEMZ Nyan Cat is the result of the infamous MEMZ trojan destroying a computer. The malware was created by Leurak to be tried out by danooct1.

The MEMZ trojan would spam the user with dangerous website searches, flashing colors, error messages and sounds, and then eventually, would crash the PC. Attempting to stop the malware would blue screen the PC.

Rebooting the PC after the trojan's attack would show up with the message “Your computer has been trashed by the MEMZ trojan. Now enjoy the Nyan Cat...” Rebooting again will always bring the user to the message and Nyan Cat, so the PC becomes unusable.

Appearance

This Nyan is a recolor of the original gif, having a brighter pink icing, bright yellow biscuit rather than the normal color, and no blush. The rainbow trail appears to be the original, but with darker shading. The background this cat flies on is a brighter blue than the one used in the source gif.

Trivia

• The midi file used on the Nyan Cat screen is the same song used for the Retro Nyan Cat but uses the BIOS beeping tones instead through the motherboard's PC speaker.
• Joel from Vinesauce destroyed a Windows 10 using the same virus, and then began to corrupt the MEMZ Nyan Cat bootloader, resulting in some funny and nightmarish images.
• The safer 4.0 version of MEMZ has the dangerous parts taken out, so the PC is still usable, which meant that the nyan cat was removed and no longer exists in later versions of the troll trojan.
