NyAnViRuS is a fanon evil Nyan dating back to the 2nd of March 2018. This Nyan's color palette and eyes resemble a bug and is themed around computer viruses, based on MEMZ Nyan Cat.
2018[]
NyanVirus was created by FurbyLisa. It is a recoloured Nyan flipped on its back. Its body was a lime green poptart with red sprinkles. The pixels vary slightly in colour, or there is an absence of colour where there should be (the blush, for example) making it appear corrupted and low-quality.
This Nyan's file saves as a gif despite it being a static image, and features the same number of frames as the original Nyan Cat gif. It was only created for the wiki, and has no other recordings elsewhere.

- This Nyan is supposedly inspired by Tacnayn and FurbyLisa refers to them as "tacnayn 2" though this is likely them comparing the 2 cats being evil.
2021[]
The original Nyan was redesigned in 2021 by a fan artist. The body retains a similar colour palette but features several pieces of the poptart cut out of it to reveal exposed wires, emphasizing this Nyan relating to the theme of technological destruction.
The top cut leaves the poptart resembling a pair of horns. The sprinkles are instead identical to Nyan Cat's rather than the original design's.
NyanVirus's head has the same blush as original Nyan Cat, but the fur is discoloured to a green/blue tone. Its mouth opens and closes throughout the gif and has a similar appearance to Tac Neuf's. It has markings between its ears and around its mouth.
The tail is slightly longer than traditional nyans and its legs (only the far back leg visibly) are longer. This is likely to reference the original design's bug-like nature.
It is also notable that the eye shine in this Nyan's red eyes rotates on one eye but not the other.
This Nyan has markings on its tail, legs and head. Its outline is a lighter colour than the traditional black to reduce eyestrain.
